General FAQs
Where can I purchase your work?
I sell my work at exhibitions & shows, as well as directly. Use my contact form and let’s talk.
If I see something in the gallery, does this mean it’s in in stock?
If it is in the archive then it is unavailable, as I only make one of each item. If it’s in the main galleries and you want to buy it then please contact me. Do bear in mind that I don’t update the gallery every minute of every day, so some items may not have been moved to the archive even though they have been sold.
When will more small pots be available?
I’m always making more. Stay tuned.
Do you take commissions?
Check my contact page to see if I’m currently taking commission enquiries:
Commissions (Made to Order)
I ordered something recently – where is it?
As I’m a small business (it’s just me!) it can take up to 10 working days for me to process and package your orders, especially when there’s a sell out. Please be patient. You will receive an email notification once your item is posted with tracking information.
If it’s already been shipped, please check your tracking information first – it’s most likely still on its journey to you, especially if you live outside of the UK.
What about commissions/made to order pieces?
If you have ordered a made-to-order piece, or a commission, it will take 2 – 8 weeks to ship, depending on how many orders I’m working through.
I placed multiple orders, will you package them together?
Yes – I’ll do this automatically, you don’t need to ask. So long as you’ve used the same email I’ll send them together. I’ll refund excess postage paid once they’re shipped.
Can I have early access to an online exhibition or reserve an item?
It may be possible for you to reserve a piece in advance of a new show, but it will not be available to you until after the exhibition
When ordering from you directly, how will my package arrive?
To protect from damage, items are placed in a sturdy postage box cushioned in with recyclable void fill.
I also use recyclable tape and labels, so you can recycle the whole box easily without having to remove any plastic tape.
There’s a problem with my order – what can I do?
I’m here to help! Send me an email at info@stuartgaddceramics.co.uk or use the contact page to get in touch.
Can I return my purchase?
See my return policy
Do you teach workshops?
No, my passion is for creating work rather than teaching.
Are you interested in selling work through our online site?
I’m always open to discuss gallery exhibitions, shows and other event opportunities, but I’m not currently looking to sell through third party websites
